10 Ways To Springify Your Home

barcart anthropologie

1.) Add a Bar Cart: Bar Carts are great because they serve two purposes, one to drink yummy cocktails and two, they add a pretty and sophisticated decor statement to your home. A great way to “springify” your barcart is to add some fresh flowers to it in a bright colored vase. I love this bar cart from Anthropologie, but you can find these babies anywhere. I’ve found some cute ones at Ikea, Target and Homegoods as well.

pillows

2.) Add Colorful Pillows: A sure way to make spring come alive in your home is to add some bright and fun throw pillows. Throw those babies on the couch, on accent chairs, on your bed.. or even in a pretty wicker basket for a bright and fresh decorative touch. The pillows above are from Anthropologie but I also have found some amazing ones at Target, Pier One and West Elm.

3.) Add New Spring Scents – Spring is all about fresh scents, right? One of the easiest ways to bring Spring to your home is a spring-like scented candle. I’m obsessed with these spring candles from Anthropologie ( can you tell I love Anthropologie yet?) They smell so fresh and delicious and the spring tin makes for a cute decorative piece.

plants

4.) Add Plants: One of my favorite plants right now are succulents. They are so easy to take care of. You water them probably once every two weeks.. if that. Can I get a hallelujah? I usually kill all plants because I forget to water them, so I’m in love with these guys. These adorable planting jars are from West Elm. These would look great in your kitchen and bathroom.

Also if you’re looking for one of a kind adorable succulents or terrariums check out Petite Habitats! They are a local Austin plant business who is on their A-Game! I love all of their stuff!

spring rug

5.) Throw Down a Colorful Rug: Ahh, cozy on the feet and easy on the eyes. The easiest way to change up the look of your place is to change out your rugs. I’m currently in love with this rug from West Elm. Isn’t is adorable?

removable wallpaper

6.) Add Removable Wallpaper: If you don’t feel like painting your walls just get some removable wallpaper to create a bright and fun accent wall! I love the removable wallpaper from Wallmus Wall Decor because they have a ton of options for a great price.

baskets

7) Add Baskets:  You can use them to hold throw blankets, magazines, laundry. champagne.. hey why not? Hand woven baskets are also super adorable and add that fresh spring look to your home in an instant. These modern weave baskets are from West Elm. I also love to go to Target and Hobby Lobby for my baskets if I’m trying to spend less.

duvet

8.) Light & Airy Bedding: Adding a white duvet, a pastel pink accent blanket, a white fluffy throw, a cream colored pillow are all ways to make your bedroom look fresh and “springy.” This adorable duvet set is from one of my favorite places, in the world.. Pottery Barn.

9.) Cake Dome: Yes, dessert can be decor too.. for as long as it lasts anyway. A cake dome is an adorable and sweet way to add a fresh spring look to your kitchen.

10.) Add Sheer Curtains: Take down your dark winter curtains and hang some light and dainty ones. This will get your home in the spring spirit and let the sunshine come inside to say hello as well.
