Balcony Decor & Summer Spritzers

Hi beauties! Summer is in full swing in Austin, TX.. and boy is it hot! My boyfriend, Richard and I moved into a new apartment a few months ago and we have a huge balcony! I was so excited to finally have some outdoor space after living in NYC and then an apartment without a balcony here in Austin. I looked around for affordable and chic outdoor furniture for a week and couldn’t find much until I checked out Athome stores! I love this place. When you walk in you feel like you are walking into a store the size of Costco.. but it’s filled with home decor.. can you say heaven?

Before I decided to jazz up the balcony...

And after!!

I went with a lime green/ blue theme which felt super beachy and fun. I saw this mini pot with the polka dots at Athome and had to get it! Also, how cute is this mini palm tree? I’ve always loved palm trees and the beach, so it just made sense.IMG_2657

How cute is this tray? I’ve always wanted one like this so when I saw it I had to grab it! I feel like I’m the Barefoot contessa with this thing. Oh, and here is my wine spritzer! I just mixed rose and sparkling water and voila! I am obsessed with spritzers right now because you can drink in the heat and not get as dehydrated.

I also purchased the table and the green throw pillows from Athome and I am so happy with my purchases. Oh, and don’t forget about the green placemats. I was literally in the placemat aisle for a good twenty minutes… they has SO many options I couldn’t decide on a color. I think the lime green is great for summer.. but when fall comes I may switch it up, what do you think?

This may be my favorite purchase! The candle is LED and I just love the beachy accent rope.

Do you have an outdoor space or balcony? Where do you get your furniture and decor from? I would highly reccomend checking out Athome stores if you want to get adorable items and not spend a lot of money ( you know how I am with savings!)

Okay, now I’m off to drink my spritzer on the balcony and kick back with the boo. (boyfriend)

XO,

Scarlett

I am loving these colors together. The lime green looks perfect with Navy! Then adding the rope accents on the candle holder and tray and it’s almost nautical! Perfect for summer <3

I really like this decor! I’m building a small deck in my backyard soon, so I’m going to need some idea for outdoor decor and this is really cute!

Amazing way to give yourself an extra room by decorating the balcony like a conservatory.
And it looks so nice. I am picturing myself sipping rose and eating hobnobs.
