Halloween Dining Table Inspiration

So as you know it’s October and that means I’m either cooking fall inspired food, decorating my home with Halloween & Fall decor, carving pumpkins or watching Hocus Pocus on repeat. Fall is my all time favorite season and no matter what I always decorate for Halloween. So what if I hit 30 this summer, my inner child is still alive and well and want’s to decorate people.

Anyway, check out my outdoor dining table ideas if you’re having a few friends over for Halloween this year ( or just for your sweet self ) below I hope this gives you the inspiration you may need. * Scroll to the bottom for the final look!

Festive pillows add fall comfort and also serve as a decorative purpose. I love these two from Athome stores.

Picking out a center piece can be a struggle. I found this sparkly skull and knew it had to be the one! You also could decide on a pumpkin, a tray filled with candles, or a silly halloween figurine like a witch or ghost.

I added black cheese clothes going down the table instead of a table cloth to give the table a spooky feel. I also ran some fake fall leaves down the middle for a pop of color. I added a LED candle lantern on each side of the skull for some cozy lighting.

I found these adorable pumpkin placemats also at Athome stores and had to get them. They we’re only $2.99 each, so yay! They really brought the entire look together. If you don’t want to use placemats try to find some decorative napkins to place on top of the plates once you set the table.

And here’s the final look! I tried to combine Halloween and Fall and not focus too much on one or the other. If you want more of a silly Halloween table pick out ghosts, witches and goblins. If you want to focus more on a Fall/ Harvest style theme think leaves, pumpkins, and candles.

I hope this post helped inspire you to set up a fun Halloween themed dining table or even just decorate a small section of your home. It really does make me smile every time I see this area and reminds me no matter my age I still deserve to have a big dose of Halloween spirit. You do too! So go play the “Monster Mash” and get festive!

Comment below and let me know if you’re decorating this year.

XO,

Scarlett
