Travel Diaries: Denver & The Brown Palace

Hi beauties! So, we just got back from a lovely trip to Colorado where we went to Beaver Creek and Denver. I wanted to share the highlights from our trip with you guys. I have divided the highlights into two different blog posts, one for Beaver Creek and one for Denver. ( Stay tuned to the Beaver Creek post next week under my travel section.)

Have you ever been to Denver? It’s such a great city. A lot of fit people, mountains in the distance and lots to do. We stayed at The Brown Palaceย which honestly is such a gem. It dates all the way back to 1892 and truly is the definition of classic luxury. I felt like I was on Gossip Girl and Chuck Bass was about to show up to our door with macaroons and champagne.

The best part about Brown’s is they are also dog friendly! Winnie had the best time of all. Room service, meeting lots of people and prowling around the lobby like a fluffy teddy bear, she was in puppy heaven.

How gorgeous and festive is this lobby? I loved it so much. They also served high tea English style in the lobby which was lovely. So many cute little kids dressed in their holiday outfits and lots of puppies!

The hotel also serves an amazing buffet style champagne brunch at Ellyngton’s and let me just tell you, it was the best buffet I’ve ever been to in my life, no joke. Seafood bar, breakfast bar, prime rib, sushi, fondue, dessert bar and mimoas flowing. This was probably my favorite part of the trip. I also invited my best friend Julie who lives in Denver. Richard, Julie and I were in heaven. The server even let us bring some bacon back up to the room for Winnie.

After so much food and probably a few too many mimoas we were so sleepy. Can you tell we’re a little obsessed with our pup? During our last night at the hotel we rented Finding Dory and ordered more food.. room service! It was such a fun and relaxing trip and next time we’re in Denver we will for sure be going back to Brown’s Palace.

Have you ever been to Denver or The Brown Palace? Where’s your go-to spot in Colorado?

XO,

Scarlett
