WHERE TO PLAY:

If you love wine you’ve come to the right place! The Texas Hill Country is home to over 45 wineries and vineyards and Fredericksburg is the go-to spot for wine region in Texas. There are more than two dozen wineries and tasting rooms located in Fredericksburg and Gillespie County. Some of my favorite wine spots are below:

Grapecreek Vineyards: This place is adorable and sits on a 100-acre estate. The tasting rooms are located in romantic Tuscan Villa tasting rooms and they also have an Italian restaurant nestled among the oaks and vines so you can get a delicious meal to pair with your yummy wine. View their website for more info.

Fat Ass Ranch and Winery: The name was enough for me to stop in! A married couple started this fun winery and they live right on the land. The wine is delicious and they also have a store with handmade gifts. There’s also a lot of outdoor space and sometimes live music. Check their website for more info.

Have you been to Frederiksburg? I personally love it there! I’m trying to plan a trip soon so if I do I will be sure to post a travel diaries post all about it!

XO,

Scarlett
